Tribal Residential & Day Scholar School

The VGKK Tribal Residential School had its humble beginnings in 1980 with six boys in a hut. Today, we have a residential and day scholar co-education school run with the support of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The teachers live on campus along with children. The school follows the Karnataka state syllabus, and the medium of instruction is Kannada.

The residential unit provides free accommodation facilities for 150 boys and girls. The children who utilize these services are predominantly from the tribal communities of Soliga and Jenu Kuruba people.
