Samagra Shikshana Yojana Karnataka in collaboration with VGKK has been running an RST school for children of Keredimba in the last 10 years. The classes started from 21.09.2021 with a total of 26 children (14 boys & 12 girls) in Keredimaba.

• School bags, notebooks and stationery items were distributed to the children.
• Teaching started by providing “Nali-Kali” cards to the children.
• Appointed a new local tribal teacher and one cooking assistant to this school.
• Provided every day breakfast, lunch, dinner, egg, fruits, bun and biscuit to the children.
• Classes were conducted as per the time table and regular monitoring visit is done from officials of the education department.
• During COVID-19 pandemic, masks, sanitizers were provided to the children and also awareness was given to them with respect to the safety measure.
