Vivekananda Technology Resource Centre (VGKK-TRC) Mysuru

• VGKK Mysore branch located at Mysore- Nanjanagud Road is running a women’s hostel for the benefit of poor & tribal girls. In this academic year, 72 girls have enrolled in this hostel. Vivekananda girls hotel is providing food and accommodation to these girls on a no loss, no profit. These girls are pursuing UG, PG & Diploma courses in different colleges of Mysore.
• A part of the VGKK office building is rented to “Gopal Gowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital”. Here they are running allied health sciences college. The rent from this is used for tribal welfare activities of VGKK
• Training for health workers in Karuna Trust is organized in this campus. For instance, the SELCO conducted eight training sessions for various PHS staff.
